A Lyrical Tribute to Resilience: 'Walt & The Magical Bee' Heads to the Bologna Children’s Book Fair

LONDON, UK — At Goldenhive Productions, our mission has always been about more than just books; it’s about the heart we put into every page. We are so happy to share that our flagship title, Walt & The Magical Bee, has been invited to the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (April 13–16, 2026) to be part of their international showcase.

For our founder and author, Cristina Cargasacchi-Jasper, this project has been a quiet labor of love—a way to bridge her Venice Academy training with a story that helps children find their own inner strength.

The Magic of the "Bee Philosophy"

This 186-page book is a rare achievement: a biography written entirely in lyrical, rhyming verse. It follows the life of Walt Disney, not as a famous icon, but as a person who had to learn the "Bee Philosophy"—how to gather little bits of hope and inspiration from every challenge to create something beautiful for the world.

Guided by a luminous bee named Lucy, Walt learns to face the "Dreambreaker" (that quiet voice of doubt we all have) and discovers that even the smallest seed of a dream can grow with enough care.

Art Within a Book

Every page reflects Cristina’s dedication to fine art, featuring 22 gallery-quality illustrations that make the history of this creative pioneer feel like a living gallery.

As we look toward the future, we are excited to see this story find new ways to grow. From our home in Southall to the upcoming Audible/ACX production, and even early plans for stage and screen adaptations, we are simply grateful to see Walt’s message of resilience reaching new hearts.
